Day Three

Today your student is going to learn the first step to creating their audio cooking show. Before this can happen however they need to become familiar with creating audio files and saving them as an MP3.

I have created a step by step guide for you and your student. This should contribute to a greater understanding. In case you don't get a hard copy of the instructions I have sent it through an attachment in your current email account. Thank you for helping through this process.

**In class assignment: Your student will be assigned to record a podcast of either day one or day two's homework. I want to hear them describing either assignment in an properly saved audio file (MP3).

Once this is complete, we will then go over in class how to post that file to blogger using Pod bean. This is a free program you can access online that enables your student to do this.

**Tonight's Homework: In addition to the in class work, as a class we listened to sample podcast from past classes to better exemplify what is expected of them. Your students assignment tonight will be to listen to five min of their favorite radio station and one of your favorite radio stations, then critique it just as we did the podcasts we listened to in class. They will submit a written summary of their impression the next day in class.
